I have always been a high intensity “cardio girl”, with zero flexibility. Nearly 12 years ago, a friend invited me to a Rec Center yoga class. I quickly told her, "I can't even touch my toes and yoga's not a workout!” She convinced me to give it a try and after a few months, I couldn’t believe it but, we were even attending traditional yoga classes at a true Yoga Studio. And I was hooked.
At first, I considered yoga to be a physical exercise, 100% meant to only improve my flexibility. Over time, I realized that it was so much more than that. Without looking for it, I began to move down a path of self discovery and self awareness that continues to strengthen my connection with myself, my family and the world around me.
I am continually growing. Every time something resonates with me through my yoga and meditation, I am truly amazed. It happens constantly. And I’m further amazed that this growth and resonance always results in a shift in perspective and awareness.
