This series of beginners’ classes is perfect for those who have never done Aerial Yoga before or even for those who have practiced but want to revisit the basics of Aerial. A yoga class using the hammock elevates your practice, allowing you to build strength, flexibility, balance and confidence in and out of the hammock.
We will cover the basics including grounded poses (at least one body part on the floor), seated and standing poses in the hammock. We will play with Vinyasa flows using the hammock in different ways. It is a fun, joyful practice.
Mats and props are provided. However, if you have your own mat we recommend bringing it for under your hammock. This is a 4 week series and registration is required. Please sign up in advance as space is limited.
