Bhakti means “devotion” or “love” and is one of the four main yogic paths to enlightenment. Bhakti Yoga is considered by many to be the most direct way to unify the mind, heart, body and spirit with the Divine. The only requirement for Bhakti Yoga is an open, loving heart. This Bhakti class will include a brief overview of Bhakti, opportunity for personal reflection, kirtana (call-and-response chanting with music; lyrics provided) and end with a few optional yin asanas. You are invited (but not required) to sing along and bring any drums or other instruments you would like to play.
$10 donation will go to Day Yoga Community Outreach.
