Therapeutic Wisdom of Yoga: Exploring the Patterns and Balance to Lower Crossed Syndrome (LCS)

Saturday 9am-1pm

-open to teachers for continuing education or teacher training credit

Lower crossed syndrome is a condition caused by and increased movement toward more sedentary life-style habits. It results in an imbalance of tightness and weakness across the lower back, abdominals, glutes and hip flexors often resulting in pain around the low back and sacrum and a decrease of strength in the deep stabilizing abdominals. In this workshop, we will look inside the body to better understand the muscular imbalances of lower crossed syndrome, and how through simple daily techniques and yoga practices, we can help create balance and strength to live more pain free and aligned.
