Trauma Informed Yoga For Women

February 25 to March 24

***This is a 5-week series

Location: The Dayton Women's Club- 225 N Ludlow St, Dayton, OH 45402

Trauma Informed Yoga is taught by our teachers that are trained in working with individuals in a group setting who have experienced trauma such as sexual assault, abuse or other trauma experiences.

We believe that trauma can be stored in the physical body. Yoga is a resource we can utilize to start to understand our response to sensations in the body that may come up. We learn how to calm the mind and body through breathing practices, physical yoga postures and mediations.

Classes are taught in a safe and neutral environment. Our teachers are trained to maintain the safe environment and are sensitive to what may be triggering to certain individuals.

We welcome non-offending support persons to attend the classes with participants.

This class is free but registration is required in advance to attend the series!!

Please make sure you can attend the majority of classes before registering as space is limited!!
