Day Yoga is happy to announce the opening our third studio! This time in the Beavercreek area in the beautiful space that formerly was Innerlight Yoga. We are honored to be able to continue to provide yoga for the community that Innerlight owner Jen Ater has created there and we truly wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors. It’s our amazing teachers and students that make this all possible and we look forward to seeing all of you in April at Day Yoga Beavercreek.
Next sessions: Brown St. Apr 10th (Tuesdays), and Vandalia Apr 3rd (Tuesdays) - This series of beginner's classes are perfect for those who have never done yoga before or even for those who have practiced but want to revisit the basics of yoga. Mats and props are provided. However, if you have your own mat we recommend bringing it.
Aug 4-5th Brown St. AcroYoga is a practice which blends elements of yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. This playful art cultivates trust and connection between partners, and is as therapeutic as it is fun. Guaranteed to be a good time, and leave you feeling open and inspired - All ages, heights, weights and levels of experience are welcome! You absolutely DO NOT need to bring a partner, but this is truly a practice to share with friends.
Nov 3rd-4th Brown St. In this twelve hour Restorative Teacher Training we will explore ways to utilize props effectively so that students feel supported in every pose to promote deep relaxation. The benefits of each pose will be discussed as well as variations and modifications. We will also discuss how different body types or injuries may affect each student's experience in different poses and how to address situations that may arise.
