We are all connected to the stars and planets that make up the universe. The energies of the astrological zodiac signs and each phase occurring throughout the year can inform our teaching and personal yoga practices in profound ways.
In this workshop with Emily, we will spend the weekend exploring and experiencing ways to incorporate inspiration from each of the astrological signs occurring throughout the year into our teaching practice.
Throughout the weekend, Emily will guide us in an experiential exploration and discussion of astrology and our connection to it, your personal birth chart, the energies of each astrological sign, and the tools that we can use to help our students and ourselves connect to the energies of the universe.
You will have the opportunity to practice working with the energies of the astrological signs and reflect on how these might be used in your personal practice and teaching practice.
You will explore, practice, and develop various methods for designing your own class/workshop incorporating the energies of the astrological signs that inspire you to bring into your personal yoga practice and/or the yoga practices you offer as a teacher.
All students are welcome. Some prior yoga experience may be helpful, but your interest and an open heart and mind is all that is needed.

Saturday, April 11th
9am-12pm: Exploring an Overview of Astrology and the energies throughout each phase
12pm-1pm: Lunch Break
1pm-4pm: Exploring your Birth Chart and its influence in your practice and teaching
Sunday, April 12th
9am-12pm: Connecting to the inspiration of each astrological sign in our teaching practice
12pm-1pm: Lunch Break
1pm-4pm: Astrological Sequencing and Design: Developing and sharing your unique class
Cost:
Full Weekend: $300 if registered and paid by March 20th; $350 thereafter
Single Sessions: Single Morning or Afternoon Session: $85 if paid and registered by March 20th; $95 thereafter
12 hours of CEUs available through Yoga Alliance by request. Please note that CEUs must be requested by March 27th.
*Please note: A $25 deposit is built into the cost of the workshop and a $15 deposit for single sessions. There will be no refunds issued within 30 days of the start date of the workshop.
