Yoga is a journey toward spiritual, mental and physical wellness. It is union, unfolding within and all around. The timeless teachings of yoga have not only survived through the ages but also thrived in this modern era. Through yoga, we are inspired to live simply and compassionately, dedicated to realizing our potential, our truth. The benefits are immeasurable…
Teaching yoga is a natural extension of your experience of it, rather you intend to teach in a classroom setting or simply by affecting others through how you live in harmony in your own life. As you learn and experience, you will grow and inspire those around you to come along on the journey.
The Day Yoga Foundational Yoga Teacher Training is a holistic and experiential approach to Hatha Yoga. We will explore multiple styles of asana as well as meditation and pranayama. Students will be exposed to a variety of yogic perspectives through numerous special guest yoga teachers.
The teachings will be expressed through 180 hours in the class setting and 20+ home study, practice, practice teaching and karma yoga. Topics of study will include:
- Power, gentle and yin yoga practice
- Yoga history and philosophy
- Pranayama and meditation
