Julie Patel (RYT 200) began practicing yoga while living in Santa Monica, CA many moons ago. She has always been fascinated by the mind-body connection and loves all aspects of practicing and teaching yoga. Movement, music, and laughter are key parts of her daily practice and weekly classes. Julie has been teaching at Day Yoga since 2015. She has taught yogis from age three to 83 and every age in between. Julie recently completed her training in Sensory-Enhanced Yoga for Self-Regulation & Trauma Healing. She is also certified as a Whole Body Core Barre Teacher which combines yoga and barre movements for a full-body workout.
