Saturday 10:30am-4:30pm
Sunday 9am-3pm
Join yoga therapist Devon Schmidt for an introductory weekend into Yoga Somatics. In this 10-hour training, you’ll learn how to thoughtfully blend traditional yoga movements with somatic practices, and explore how conscious movement and awareness influence the nervous system. These gentle, effective somatic techniques can be seamlessly woven into any style of yoga class—from therapeutic and restorative offerings to strong vinyasa flows.
This training explores mindful movement as a powerful tool for releasing tension, improving mobility, and reconnecting with the body’s innate intelligence. Through subtle awareness and slow, intentional movement, participants learn how to support nervous system regulation, reduce habitual pain patterns, and cultivate greater ease—both on and off the mat. This training is ideal for yoga teachers, bodyworkers, and movement professionals seeking a more intuitive, nervous-system-informed approach to teaching and self-care.
This training provides 10 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Units (CEUs). It is intended as an introductory course for yoga teachers and movement specialists and does not confer certification in somatics or yoga therapy.
Cost: $189 if paid and registered by March 6th; $209 thereafter
*There is a $50 non-refundable deposit built into the cost of this training. There will be no refunds issued within 30 start days of the workshop.
