I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200 hrs) which I earned at Day Yoga Studio in 2014 & I am continuing to work toward my 500 hrs so I can enhance each practice. I started practicing yoga about 6 years ago. Yoga was something I wanted to do for a long time. As a health care provider (Nurse Midwife & Family Nurse Practitioner) for many years & Retired Air Force Officer in the Nurse Corps I strongly believe in preventative/self care. Yoga is something we all can do to help heal ourselves mentally, physically & spiritually throughout our lives. I have been teaching for the past year & a half. I currently teach Yoga Basics. I would encourage all to try various styles of yoga with different teachers. You are the teachers, I am your guide.
