Nichole Moorman LISW, Certified MBSR Teacher, Certified EMDR Therapist, KAP trained is offering Day of Mindfulness in collaboration with Day Yoga. This program is a fruitful way to take a deeper dive into their mindfulness practice and specifically apply mindfulness to
experiences of distractability, restlessness, and anxiety.
Day of Mindfulness will support you to:
● Practice various methods of formal and informal mindfulness practices
● Better understand the “non judgment” aspect of mindfulness practice
● Identify specific ways to integrate moment to moment awareness and kind attention
into your day to day life.
● Begin to apply mindfulness practice to tension, distraction, and judgment you
experience in your life
The Day of Mindfulness curriculum and teaching method is inspired by the evidence based Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program, the gold standard of mindfulness training in medical and research settings. This program is trauma informed and is also appropriate for those with concerns about burnout and chronic stress, including workplace, caregiver, and health stress. The Day of Mindfulness can also support those who teach and hold space for others.
Appropriate for beginner and intermediate mindfulness practitioners, as well as advanced practitioners who want to spend an afternoon in practice with others and being supported. Join us for this experiential learning opportunity!
