Balancing the Mind, Body & Spirit for Fall and Winter: A Yoga, Ayurveda and Aromatherapy Weekend

August 17 to August 18

All sessions are with Elizabeth Hulsman, she is an Advanced Holistic Gut Health Specialist, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and Coach, Ayurvedic massage practitioner, Certified Clinical Master Aromatherapist, Certified in Aroma-point therapy, an ERYT-500, YACEP, and Plant Based Chef.

 

Saturday Morning

Intro to Ayurveda

9am-1:00

An intro Ayurveda what it is, how it works, and ways to incorporate it into the fall and winter seasons. Includes a morning yoga practice to work with balancing Vata dosha.

 

Saturday Afternoon

Yoga and Aromatherapy for Fall and Winter

2-5:00pm

Includes an afternoon gentle/restorative Vata balancing yoga practice with fall oils. Discussion on how to choose and to use the oils in practices, and how to give adjustments using oils.

 

Sunday Morning

Holistic Gut Care

9am-12:00pm

Understanding gut health and how to use aromatherapy and herbs, for gut health. Discussion on fruit, floral, woods, and herb essential oils, their impact on the health of our gut and how we can use them. Includes a gut assessment, general discussion on how to use the assessment to guide your healing, an option to book a one on one session at a reduced rate, a session on how to create your own aromatherapy blend to use for belly massage, an opportunity to give yourself a belly massage with the oils (or do without oil and over clothes) and a meditation on gut health and well being.

 

Sunday Afternoon

Understanding Energy & Psychoneuroimmunology And How They Relate To Each Other.

 1:30-5:00pm

Understanding how our thoughts shift the energy in our body and create real changes in our physical and mental being. How can we use this knowledge to live better. Includes discussion about Aromatherapy and how you can use scent to change the mood to impact the thoughts and create change. Includes a gentle morning mood balancing practice and concludes with a smudge stick craft.

 

Cost: Full Weekend: $149; Single Sessions $45
