In this workshop with Emily, we will spend the weekend exploring and experiencing ways to incorporate inspiration from the cycles of nature into our teaching practice and various methods for sequencing workshops.
Throughout the weekend, Emily will guide us in an experiential exploration and discussion of the cycles and patterns in nature such as the wheel of the year, seasonal shifts in Ayurveda, the lunar cycle, and Astrology.
You will have the opportunity to practice working with these nature cycles and reflect on how these might be used in your personal practice and teaching practice.
We will also explore and practice various methods for designing and sequencing workshops.
You will have the opportunity to develop your own class or workshop design incorporating the cycles of nature and the methods for workshop sequencing and design that inspire you to take home and bring into your personal yoga practice and/or the yoga practices you offer as a teacher.
All students are welcome. Some prior yoga experience may be helpful, but your interest and an open heart and mind is all that is needed.
Saturday, May 4th
9am-12pm: Exploring teaching inspiration within the Wheel of the Year and seasonal shifts in Ayurveda
1pm-4pm: Exploring teaching inspiration within the Lunar Cycle and Astrology
Sunday, May 5th
9am-12pm: Workshop Inspiration, Sequencing, and Design: Sharing your passion through your classes and workshops
1pm-4pm: Workshop Sequencing and Design: Developing your unique classes and workshops
Cost: Full Weekend: $225 if registered and paid by April 12th; $250 thereafter
Single Sessions: $80 if paid and registered by April 12th; $90 thereafter
12 hours of CEUS available through Yoga Alliance.
*A $25 deposit is built into the cost of the workshop and a $15 deposit for single sessions. There will be no refunds issued within 30 days of the start date of the workshop.
